en 67th Anniversary: Astra Invites the Community to Discover a New Spirit for Today and the Future of Indonesia

JAKARTA: In celebration of Astra’s 67th anniversary on February 20, 2024, Astra and the community enjoyed a live performance from the music group GAC at the Bundaran HI Astra Transjakarta Bus Stop in Jakarta today (2/25). The performance, themed “Discover Your New Spirit”, is a tangible manifestation of Astra’s support for the development of Indonesia’s creative industry through collaboration with local artists.

Astra’s collaboration with GAC to entertain the Jakarta community participating in Car Free Day is one effort to spread the spirit of Astra’s 67th-anniversary theme, “Astra for Today and the Future of Indonesia”.

“For 67 years growing with the Indonesian community, Astra has consistently generated innovation and established collaborations to contribute to every step of this country’s journey. Cross-sector collaborations with creative industry players are expected to spread inspiration in realizing the nation’s progress for today and the future of Indonesia,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Riza Deliansyah.

One way Astra promotes the local creative industry is by commissioning Yessiow, a young artist from Bali, to transform Bundaran HI Astra Transjakarta Bus Stop with her artwork. Yessiow’s illustrations that depict Astra’s spirit adorn various parts of the stop.

Astra’s spirit in supporting the nation’s progress for today and the future of Indonesia is in line with Astra’s mission to prosper with the nation while supporting Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
